If you’re looking for a flawless finish Accoya is just the job.

The dimensional stability of the product means it is ideal for coating or painting, where the lack of movement means the coatings aren’t subjected to the type of movement they receive from a traditional timber substrate.

Coatings go on with ease, and you’ll have less preparation and reduced need for sanding beforehand.  As well as being beautiful to look at, Accoya is a real timesaver, both during fabrication and for future care requirements.

For use on Accoya, we recommend Sansin and Teknos finishes. These brands offer a wide variety of colours and finishes, and offer redecoration timescales of up to ten years, dependent upon exposure, orientation and other design factors. Accoya’s stability reduces cracking and paint failure, allowing for extended coating lifespans. Our in-house finishing service at Latham Timber Manufacturing provides fully finished products to save time and ensure consistent application.
